BayShop was officially incorporated in 2015 after three years of study and incubation. From the beginning, the company focused on doing less, but doing it properly. It started with one product.
Symfoni, an all-natural latex mattress made without synthetic foams, chemical treatments, or unnecessary layers.
If the core material is right, it does not need to be disguised.
Today, BayShop operates as a purist mattress company, built around material integrity, structural simplicity, and long-term performance.

Before launching BayShop, Brendan spent three years examining how mattresses were built and sourced. What he found was consistent. Layers added for appearance, materials chosen for cost, and construction that prioritised presentation over long-term performance.

How We Build Our Mattresses
Where our latex comes from.
Our latex comes from Sri Lanka.
We started with suppliers in Thailand and moved to Sri Lanka for better consistency and material quality.
Built in our own factory in Singapore.
Every mattress is built in our own factory in Singapore. We oversee the entire process, from cutting to assembly.
We do not rely on excessive quilting, added thickness, or cooling gels.
What we build is shaped by the material itself.
No unnecessary layers.
No cosmetic distractions.
